My name is Jo Ann and I have had pet rats on and off for over 28
years. They have brought me tremendous joy with their wonderful
company. Unfortunately, over the course of those years, I did not
have the wealth of information on rat care that is now available;
there was one small book and it wasn't helpful. I also felt alone in my
choice of pets, simply because not too many people realized the
wonderful potential of *lab* rats as pets.
This is Rat. He is patiently waiting for me to go into chat so he can
sabotage my spelling! He was a wonderful rat but died in 1997
of respiratory failure.
