PSP 6 Diamond Signature

I did this sig with no additional filters but only what was available in PSP 6!
.
.
1. Open a new file with a white back ground and 16 mil colors. I did mine at 300 x300 because I like the extra space. For the palette, make sure the foreground color is white and the background color is black.
.
.
2. Now find the font you would like to use, I used caligula at 48 pts. Make sure Floating and Antialias are checked and not vector. Next go to Selections/Modify/Feather and set it at 4. (Actually it looks a bit nicer at 75 pts but its rather large)
.
.
3. After that go to Image/Effects/Chrome and set Flaws set at 7 and brightness at 88. Then go to Images/Other/Hot Wax Coat with the foreground still set at white. Go to Color/Adjust/Brightness&Contrast and set brightness to 85. Then redo the Chrome effect without changes to the settings.
.
.
4. Now go and get the same text selection and place over the text you just modified. Make sure you place the top text a little off center to give it some depth.
.
.
5. Choose Chrome again and change the brightness setting to 100 and apply this twice. Hot wax coat, then go back to Chrome and make the Brightness 4. Do once and voila!

The following gif shows what it would look like with the bottom feathered layered filled with bright blue color (#0000FF).

Here is a tip from Rob Traub, after you are done, experiment with colorization, the effects can be really neat.
